Jessica Mock
Jessica Mock, 28, is the owner and founder of Southern Sugaring – The Hair Removal Salon. Mrs. Mock attended Georgia Southern University’s fashion program following high school, and these classes ignited a desire to push her career in the direction of art and beauty. The field of esthetics allowed this creativity an outlet, and she graduated from Ogeechee Technical College’s Esthetics program in 2011. She has embraced being a girl from childhood, as evidenced by her parents’ most effective punishment – dressing her in pants instead of dresses.
Her introduction to body sugaring made a huge impact on her budding career, which began at BeJai’s Esthetic Solutions, a salon that offered sugaring. After a very brief instructional period, she found herself with a full book. Learning in this way challenged her to become a professional in a short period of time, which has propelled her career in the direction of owning her own salon. After her move to 30 Volume Salon and obtaining her own certification in body sugaring, Jessica grew her clientele by offering sugaring along with facials, body treatments, and makeup applications. She pursued an opportunity for representation by Savannah makeup agency, Dollface by Jules, and achieved the honor of being the first artist to complete the company’s intensive training program.
Today, Jessica Mock is the owner of Savannah’s premiere sugaring studio, Southern Sugaring, still in love with all things beauty and fashion, as well as a recovering perfectionist, and a blonde, inside and out. She is also the Tamara’s Professional Certified Educator for the state of Georgia, certifying other licensed beauty professionals in the art of body sugaring.
